No, there is no harm in cracking your knuckles or any other joints in your body. As long as you don’t feel any pain when you crack your joints, it will not cause arthritis or any change in or around your joints. The fluid (synovial fluid) that surrounds your joints and allows them to move smoothly has gases in the fluid that creates bubbles, when you crack your joints you are popping these bubbles. It takes about 20 minutes for the bubbles to form again. Cracking your joints can feel good because it’s relieving pressure in your joints.
